The group stage of the revamped Club World Cup has come to a close. Unsurprisingly, the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have all reached the knockout stage and nine of the last 16 are European.
However, the intensity and strength of the Brazilian sides has arguably been the story of the tournament so far, with Palmeiras, Botafogo, Flamengo and Fluminense all reaching the knockout stage. In addition, the designated hosts, Inter Miami, are also still in the mix, as are Al-Hilal, who are proudly flying the flag for the Asian Football Confederation, and Mexico's Monterrey.
