Carlo Ancelotti's side failed to find an equaliser and after the loss, which has all but ended Los Blancos' title hopes, a section of Madrid fans directed abuse at Munoz on social media, with some even calling for the 21-year-old to retire. Kylian Mbappe threaded a sublime through ball into the box, finding Munoz in a one-on-one situation with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. However, the youngster couldn't keep his composure and fired his shot off target, with Real failing to find an equaliser.</p>

<p>Notably, Sunday's Clasico marked Munoz's La Liga debut. The winger has been a key player for Real Madrid's Castilla  side this season, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists in 31 appearances.</p>
